Dredging Process of Sunter River Reaches 50 Percent

Until today, Sunter River dredging work which carried out by East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has reached 50 percent.

East Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Maintenance Section Head, Puryanto conveyed, Sunter River dredging has been carried out from the back side of BPK Penabur School, Cipinang Indah until East Flood Canal (KBT) bridge.

"We dredge mud sedimentation on Sunter River to anticipate inundation and flooding in the area," he said, Thursday (9/24).

For this dredging, his side used two Long Arm-typed heavy equipment. His side also planned to add more heavy equipment to accelerate the work.

"Our target is to finish the dredging in December," he closed.
